You can also use your Mobility Budget to pay for public transport tickets with the SSB BestPreis app.
As the app only charges your booked tickets after one month, please note the following points on to use your Mobility Budget with the SSB BestPreis app:
How does the SSB BestPreis App work?
Any trips booked with the SSB BestPreis App are not charged immediately, but are collected and optimized over a period of one month so that you pay the lowest price for the best tariff combination available to you. You can find your previous trips in the app under the menu item "BestPreis". At the end of the observation period you will receive an invoice by e-mail with a detailed list of all your individual trips.
When are the tickets invoiced and deducted from the Mobility Budget?
One month after your first booking at the end of the observation period the price-optimised total amount will be deducted from your Mobility Budget.
For example: On January 15th, you book your first ticket with the SSB BestPreis App. This kicks off a new observation period that ends on February 15th. You will now receive an invoice for all tickets booked since January 15th. Then, your Mobility Budget for February will be used as payment.
Can I use the Mobility Budget from the month in which I make my first booking?
No, as you always pay at the end of the observation period during the following month. Your Mobility Budget from the month of the invoice is therefore always used for payment (see our example above).
Can the observation period be adjusted?
Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to adjust the observation period. You control it yourself by choosing the date of your first booking in the SSB BestPreis app.
How can I buy individual tickets that are exempt from the observation period?
You can use the SSB Flex App to book individual tickets for immediate payment, billing outside of your SSB BestPreis package, or to purchase tickets for other people.
